Privacy Policy

Gattud Design Studio (“Gattud,” “we,” “us”) is a design studio run by Kurt Gattud in Manila, Philippines. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. We try to collect as little as possible.

What we collect

What you tell us. When you fill in the “Tell us your story” form or email us, we receive what you choose to share, such as:

• Your name, business or brand name, and email address
• Your website or social media handle
• Your answers about your project: stage, goals, timeline, budget range, and anything else you write

Basic technical data. Like almost every website, our hosting provider automatically processes standard request information (such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested) to deliver the site and protect it from abuse.

A quick bot check. When you open the form, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that you’re a person and not an automated script. To do that, Cloudflare looks at signals from your browser and device; Cloudflare says it doesn’t use this data for advertising or to track you across sites. Turnstile loads only when you open the form, not when you browse the site.

What we don’t collect. This site doesn’t use advertising trackers or analytics cookies, and we don’t build profiles of visitors.

How we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and decide together whether we’re a good fit
• To prepare a proposal and, if we work together, to deliver and support your project
• To keep the website running securely

We use your information because you asked us to get in touch (your consent) and because we need it to take the steps toward, or carry out, a project with you. We won’t add you to a newsletter or send you marketing without asking.

Who we share it with

We never sell or rent your information. We only share it with the services we rely on to run the studio:

• Cloudflare, which hosts and secures this website, stores the enquiries you send through the form, runs the Turnstile bot check, and forwards email sent to our address
• Google (Gmail), where our email, including a copy of each enquiry, is delivered

Some of these providers store data outside the Philippines. We choose providers with strong security and privacy commitments. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are stored in a private database on Cloudflare, with a copy emailed to us. If we don’t end up working together, we delete your enquiry from both within 12 months. If we do, we keep project correspondence and records for as long as needed to support your project and meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

Your rights

Under the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), and similar laws where you live, you can ask to:

• Know what information we hold about you and get a copy of it
• Correct information that’s wrong or out of date
• Have your information deleted, or object to how we use it
• Withdraw your consent at any time

Email hello@gattuddesign.com and we’ll respond within 30 days. If you’re not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the National Privacy Commission of the Philippines.

Keeping it safe

The site is served over an encrypted connection, and we limit access to your information to the people working on your project. No method of sending or storing data is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
